We heard about this place thru YouTube. The famous "chocolate cake shake" brought us here and we tried the beef and cheese croissant sandwich and the Italian beef with sweet peppers w/extra gravy and some cheese fries. The parking is plentiful and the store is pretty big with lots of seating. I was happy to see the pleasant demeanor of the employees and a man named ALLEN spoke with us and made our visit entertaining.
Never thought traveling to Florida I would find a Chicago staple!! Had to stop haven't had a Portillos beef is some time! Well it didn't disappoint, just my suggestion get the combination beef and sausage with peppers (I prefer hot) Mozzarella and dipped, it is a mess to eat but it is soooooo good!!! Stop eat and get that Chicago flavor again!
