Bolay

Went to the Bolay Kitchen on Brandon Rd. in Tampa yesterday and was impressed with everything I ordered. I got the $11.99 bowl cuz I had to try their black rice base & the kale base which tasted like a kale salad. Got broccoli and sautéed zucchini/onion for my 2 veggie toppings & tofu & garlic chicken for my protein choices. The bowl was huge & I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat it all, but figured it’d make good leftovers. The 2 people with me loved their bowls too. I don’t think I’ve ever had tofu as good anywhere else. They had a great selection of herbal ice teas also. If there was a Bolay in my hometown, I’d be eating there at least twice a week! Hometown: Panama City Beach

Meat and vegan options, friendly staff, tasty, filling, reasonable bowl prices. I ordered a regular bowl with Teriyaki Chicken, Jasmine Rice, Roasted Brussel Sprouts and Herb Roasted Potatoes, for takeout. The chicken and potatoes were very good, the rice was good, and the sprouts were OK, but I thought might have been missing a bit of flavor. Will probably try some different options next time.

This place was amazing! My new favorite spot! I'm plant based based the tofu was great. I love how they had great tasty vegan options and sauces! I will definitely be back to try something new! Seriously the food was good and good price. I got a regular bowl and it was a good size for someone not starving but just hungry. I got the miso tofu, Asian noodles, broccoli and potatoes with the garlic sauce. So good! The service was great. Fast! Professional. Nice. And friendly. And knowledgeable about what to try and they were on point! Thanks belay for not disappointing!
