The filet with gnocchi was amazing. The gnocchi was like little pillows. The steak was super tender and the butter took it over the top. Highly recommend this place for a delicious dinner.
Food & atmosphere was amazing. I've been coming here for years. However, I have been noticing the service has been going downhill for a while now. I was in on Saturday early evening just before heading to the St Joe's picnic. The time it took for our server to even reach the table was around 12 minutes. Then the drinks were slow, the food was slow, the whole experience was slow. The server was missing at times & at no surprise, came back smelling like a cigarette. Of course I'll still come back, but this most recent visit was disappointing to say the least.
A long-time Louisville resident told me this was his favorite restaurant. Now I know why. Great caprisi salad. Even better calamari. Also, the place has a great vibe and excellent servers. FYI, photos were taken after I had already consumed a portion of the item. My bad.
