Ordered a 10 piece with two sides which were the collard greens and Mac and cheese. The chicken or the sides did not have any flavor. Chicken was crispy similar to Bush's chicken. Everything needed salt. Added gravy and hot sauce to the chicken and it wasn't any better. Do not recommend and will not go back here.
I've been wanting to try this place since I movednto Terrill a few months ago and I finally did. I was surprised when I walked in and saw the options they had for sides. Service was fast and friendly. I could tell they have alot of regulars here because I was too busy looking at the menu and families just kept coming in knowing exactly what they wanted. I'm very picky when it comes to fried okra and they got it RIGHT. My chicken was pretty good (my 2 year old ate more chicken than I've ever seen her eat) the mashed potatoes were good but I was sadly disappointed in the greens. They just needed some juice cause they were dried out and seasonless. Once I added some water and seasoning when I got home they were great. They have the convenience of a drive thru that stays busy too. I will definitely be back because I want to try their fish, green beans and so many other items on the menu. Keep up the great work POPS.
Out of the world experience every time. I ordered livers and gizzards w gravy. My wife ordered a 2 piece with fried okra. The food came out fresh and hot (had to wait for it to cool down before I could eat it). Everything was delicious and beyond expected. The sweet tea is just like Mama's. Good fried okra is hard to do. This place excels at it.
