Pop's Comfort Kitchen

I just received my favorite meal from Pop’s - chicken livers, mashed potatoes, & cabbage. Everything was great, except the cabbage. I’m not sure what happened this go ‘round, but it looked and tasted old/burnt.

I wanted to give a 5 star because I met one of the managers and I really liked the whole feel of the place. I got the Daily Special, because, why not? Plus I wasn't entirely sure what chopped steak was. ???????????? Once I got home and saw it, I was All In! My mind went to '???????? Homemade Salisbury Steak'. 2 beautiful round rolls. 2 different kinds of gravy Yummy Green Beans ???? Oh, and let me add, the chopped steak was wrapped in a strip of bacon. Everything was Fantastic, except for the chopped steak. ???? My initial plan was to try the roast but I was on Google Maps when I saw the menu and the Chopped Steak was under updates in Google Maps. ???? I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant. I loved Everything except the chopped steak. Anyway. I'll post a picture of my meal when I first opened it and a follow up picture that I'm taking right before midnight. The waitresses' personality was the best thing going for this place. Although she mixed up the order a couple times. Her personality made it bearable. The food was not it for me. I was NOT a fan of the country fried steak personally. Everything tastes cheap and prepackaged or heated from frozen. Definitely a no for me...
