Pogo’s Great Pizza & Chicken

We had a wonderful time at Pogos. The lady that owns it is the sweetest ever she goes out of her way to make sure you are satisfied. The food was great ???????? The environment is clean and beautiful orange and blue decor. We got many items and just shared it family style . The bread was cheesy and flavorful, they’re definitely better then average breadsticks . We got the tandoori pizza and wow ???? All the spices and flavors were delicious. If you like Indian food you’ll love this pizza. They have many other choices as well. The chicken was good I loved the sauce it came with. It had such a unique yummy flavor. I was surprised how much I liked the grilled chicken bowl I almost didn’t even get this one and to my surprise it was my favorite thing. The flavor was sensational. I really enjoyed the steamed cauliflower paired with all the toppings and sauce . Mmmm trust me on this one . I honestly couldn’t get enough of the Greek salad. It was scrumptious. For starters… I’ve eaten here three times this week alone. Yes I know, that’s a lot, but not for Pogos. My friends and I found this place by accident and are telling everyone we know about it. South African delights, so fun, great choice, the baked pudding is as good as you can imagine and the owners are as delightful as the food. I will probably be here next week… you better be too!!

This was my very first time trying food from Zimbabwe and it was a wonderful experience, the flavors strong and delicious, softly spicy and amazing customer service. Hands down the best garlic chicken and tandoori chicken I have tried ( I love this type of food, simply the Zimbabwe style is the first time I try it) it was amazing and the Roasted Mealie was simply wonderful. To top it the baked pudding it was simply PERFECT! This restaurant and their wonderful recipes and customer service are a MUST for a great date!
