Please-U-Restaurant

We stopped in for breakfast while visiting New Orleans. My wife had waffles and enjoyed them. Eggs and sausage were good as well. I also enjoyed the potatoes. The biscuits and gravy, on the other hand, was not good. The biscuit tasted like it had been cooked 3 days ago and left in the fridge. The sausage gravy that I ordered with the biscuits was not great. It was bland and lumpy... and it wasn't the sausage that made it lumpy. I'm not quite sure what was wrong with it... maybe it was old... Not sure. If you are not planning on getting biscuits or white gravy, this place is probably fine.

Great little dive with awesome food and equally awesome service. I ordered the steak and eggs with grits and it was so delicious and huge. My wife got the gyro sandwich and fries and she said it was amazing. (Didn’t get a pic of the gyro)

This is a quintessential diner. I ordered the pancakes with eggs and bacon. It has been years since I was able to polish off a plate of pancakes but didn't have any problem finishing off this excellent food. The price point was great and the staff was very friendly.
