Plaza Cafe

I really wanted to like this restaurant; the location justifies mildly inflated prices for mediocre food, but I can't get past all of the single-use products. I had a Greek omelette, which lived up to its name; it was piled high with feta, peppers, and olives. It was tasty for sure. I also had an everything bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was soft and delicious and left me wanting for more. Sadly though, cold cream cheese is on the side and not easily spread with a plastic knife. The above was served on a styrofoam plate. All in all, the food while tasty, was not what I hoped for based on the glowing reviews of others. Hopefully they'll switch to more environmentally concious serving and dining ware.

Super yummy Indian food!! One of my favorite spots for it in downtown Raleigh. Quick and easy to order takeout or have a casual dine in. Everything is hot and fresh, Naan is made to order. 10/10

Super friendly staff and a GREAT alternative to expensive hotel breakfast. I am honestly not sure why this place wasn’t packed it was 1/2 the price of almost any option at the hotel and the quality was spot on for a little cafe.
