Plaza Bonita Mexican Restaurant

Average Mexican food. Good service. Had relleno, a bit greasy and lacking flavor. Also had fundido. It was average as well covered in white queso when I am used to a spicier, cheese sauce covering. Rice was bland too and had to put the salsa on it. Mai Tai drink was good.

Plaza Bonita is a good traditional style Mexican restaurant. Fresh chips and salsa are served with the meal. Overall food quality was good with decent size portions. The Margarita's are good and not overly sweet and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and attentive even with the resteraunt nearly full. The atmosphere is great along with the decor. Very colorful tables and chairs make it feel refreshing from typical restaurant styles. The resteraunt was clean and is kid friendly. The dinning room is small so timing is important or else be prepared for a possible wait. Overall a great Mexican restaurant in the North Valley area Kid-friendliness: Environment is kid friendly and there is a kid menu. Parking: Parking is close but but can be limited during peak hours.

Good food, awesome lunch specials. Even with a solid tip included, it costs the same or less than fast food. I like to come here any time I feel like being in a food coma that afternoon :)
