Playas Nayaritas

Great ambiance, staff and service.The seafood was super fresh, delicious and flavorful. Portions were generous even though we ordered small size platters. Satisfied my seafood craving! Would go back again !

We weren't sure what to think before going here. We knew it was a seafood place, and we like seafood, but we've never been to a Mexican seafood restaurant. Our waitress, who was very nice, let us know there are some locations in Chicago. Please note a couple of things. The portions are very large, even for non shareable meals. There are quite a few selections that are intended to be shared. If you order pop, it comes in a can. Plus they don't have their liquor license as of January. Good food though!

My family and I decided to try out the food at Playa Nayaritas for the first time on Father's day. Since it was a holiday, we were worried that it was going to be busy. Once we arrived, we noticed that the crowd level was moderately okay and our host/waitress seated us immediately. However, in the beginning, the restaurant appeared to be short staffed. Our waitress took our drink orders first, and my sister decided to order agua de horchata. Our waitress let us know that they ran out of agua de horchata. My sister was upset by this but it's understandable (if there's no more, there's no more not a big deal). As we were given our time to order our food, we noticed families that came in 10-15 minutes after us, order agua de horchata and their waitress (different from ours) did serve them agua de horchata. Our waitress took a long time to check in on us so that we can order our food. When she finally arrived, my dad order coctel de camarones, my sister and mom both order filet de pescado
