Pizzeria Leopold

I was looking for prosciutto, and I wasn't having any luck finding some from Italy in the stores I normally shop at. I googled "prosciutto near me" and Google brought me to this place. At first I was only going to buy the prosciutto I was craving, but when I saw the pasta salad and the mozzarella / tomato salad I *had to* get some. Then I also got recommendations on a beer to get my boyfriend as a little surprise for when he comes home after work. The employees were super nice! I just had most of the pasta salad, the mozzarella / tomato salad, and some of the prosciutto. Everything was delicious ???? I will be coming back to try their sandwiches and pizza! ????

I had fine service, no knock there at all. I got the Italian hero and, for me, it left something to be desired. My preference is to have softer, chewier bread. The bread on the sandwich was quite crispy on the outside, very flaky. Good bread is important to me if I'm going to be paying that much for a sandwich. I also thought the ratios on the sandwich were not great; it was almost all meat, very little lettuce. Gotta have good ratios. I also did not get a pickle spear on the side as promised on the menu. With that said, I thought the quality of the meat was excellent. Very thin sliced and you could tell it was great meat. It was fine, but I would probably not eat there again though.
