Chapala Mexican Restaurant

We just tried this restaurant last Sunday and it was excellent! You can tell a lot when a restaurant is packed with people between 2:45 and 4:30 PM! Great food - it will now be our favorite for Mexican food! I got burritos that were packed with chicken, steak and shrimp. Yum!

I saw this on TikTok and it had good reviews on google map so I decided to give it a try. We got tortilla soup, Birria tacos, and chimichanga. So delicious, really generous with the portion and reasonable price. What else can I ask for? The staff is super friendly as well. Can't wait to go back.

I am hoping that the management of Chapala's reads this and is willing to offer me a redemption carne asada fries for the horrible one that I received the other day. I brought my partner here expecting to get the carne asada fries I have received in the past and when I opened the box upon getting home my heart broke due to the smaller size and lack of toppings (for $14+ after tax a carne asada fries is usually a huge portion that can fill two people up). See attached picture of what I received. Unless this is somehow fixed by management, I don't think I will be going back to or recommending Chapala's to anyone (a shame since I go a couple times a month).
