Disappointed with our recent visit. Ordered garlic knots and a large cheese pizza. Felt like it took a bit seeing as their were 2 other tables there. When we received our order the knots and pizza were undercooked and the pizza was not even cut well enough for us to pick up the slices. Our server was very nice offered to get us a new one but we had our 2 kids and just couldn’t wait another 30 minutes. No manager came by, if there was even one in the building.
3.5 stars. Unfortunately not an authentic Italian place at all, but good for Americans probably. Menu' shows it. The "pizza al taglio" we got, called Siciliana, had way to much garlic that ruined it. The execution of the pizza was good though, coming feom Sicily myself, without all that amount of garlic, it would have been good.
We used to love love love this place. My kid would chow down almost an entire plate of chicken& broccoli rigatoni. But for some reason they decided to add hot pepper flakes in the recipe, we ordered again without knowing and my 3yo could not tolerate the heat. Not a problem that time, we knew what to expect next time. For the next 3 times we’ve ordered this dish, after strongly emphasizing NO PEPPER FLAKES, and being reassured that there isn’t any in the recipe. We got it with spicy pepper flakes 3 out of 3 times. The amount of pasta in the entrees have gone down too. I’m not sure what’s going on because the manager or owner was always very nice and welcoming (although we haven’t seen them for a while now). The take out expectation fluctuates so much I really have lost my patience with this place. Will not return. Sorry but not sorry.
