I am disappointed ????. We took carry out from pista house thinking it will be providing the same taste as the one in secunderabad. We ordered some naans & paratha, chicken curry, paneer butter masala. The size of the naan is the size of a small roti and paratha is even disappointing. The breads are really pricey.. They should stick with just biriyani and haleem.. I will never buy breads from Artesia pista house.. Paneer butter masala was creamy and there is no wow factor to this curry. Chettinadu chicken curry was spicy and ok. This curry is the only 1 I liked today.
Editing my previous review and changing the rating from 4 to 2 as this thing kept repeating, and things got worst according to me, and I do not want to misguide the customers with a 4 star rating. As per my recent experience, I again had the same experience with burnt pieces, entire biriyani was filled with bone pieces with literally no meat, blunt and dry rice. Pista house had never let us down when it comes to biriyani (except for our recent visit on 07/18). It has the best south style/Hyderabadi biriyani in or around Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego county. Today was the first time the biriyani did not meet our expectation, where I got biriyani with literally all burnt goat pieces. I still give 4 star just that I had pista house biriyani for several times and every single time it tasted amazing and consistent, except for today. This post is to just make the owners/chefs aware that one bad experience may ruin the reputation of a good restaurant, and that’s the same reason I am givi
The quantity felt bit less for the prices. Hyderabadi mutton dum biryani did not felt like a dum biryani. The mutton pieces didnt felt like marinated in the spices at all (There was no masala on them). Mirchi bajji was way overly spicy to eat. Our Dine-in experience was not pleasant. The space needs to majorly improve in terms of cleanliness, service and attention to customer. Few of the folks who work there were in very untidy attire (maybe from kitchen). This space seems preferred for a take out over dine-in. Edits- Andhra fish pulusu (***) - good to taste, quantity was kinda less, barely enuf for one person, fish pieces not fresh.
