Never had a bad experience with Pico’s Chicken. All my food catering my husband and I orders from them. Food is always good for us. I had a work event and ordered Rice, sweet Plantains and Pork. Everyone at work was asking where I ordered the food from. The food tasted good and was freshly made. Parking: All depends on time of day. Plenty of parking but this place gets busy and you have other stores in the same shopping center.
What happened to this place? Relocated back to Central Florida, We decided to go to Pioco’s Chicken, We went with all the good remembrance’s of a Very tasty Chicken. First: We Wonder if the placed was sold? Before was somehow clean, Now from the entrance door, all the glass walls clouded with dirt, dirty garbage cans inside, ceilings blackened fully stained with grease, was pure filth…. Wow… My party was hungry and decided to try… We ordered Pasteles, only made with chicken were available, We were Surprised that the only ingredient inside was a mixture between ground and shredded chicken. ( !!! ) We had to wait for the chicken….. some areas were not completely cooked, dangerous. The quesitos were dried… the atmosphere was crowded.. and multiple complains regarding the wait. We got Mavi’, it was flavorless, lots of sugar not refreshing at all. Must be very honest, Their portions still generous. Unfortunately, We have Second thoughts about returning. I was short in time so I stopped in to eat since I was in the Spanish food mood… after waiting 10 minutes in line I placed my order to go and pay over $10 for a plate of food. As I open my plate of food I realize I got one little piece of potato five pieces of meat and the rest was all rice. When I took back the order to show what they serve me for what I paid with a straight face they told me yeah that’s what you get… Needless to say the last time I order from them and I highly recommend everybody to avoid this place overpriced and the food is not that great you got the Spanish supermarket next-door you can get better food for just the same or less price
