Pietro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar

The food was delicious! The service was fantastic. Felt like we were eating dinner at a relative's house. That's how hospitable they were! The owners Pietro and Susan, as well as our waiter Alex, were very friendly and very accommodating. Overall wonderful experience! Kid-friendliness: Treated our children like they were their own! Dietary restrictions: They have options for gluten-free and dairy-free diets.

Our 3rd visit to Pietro’s was disappointing. If you asked me last year I would have given 5 stars. Of course this time I brought 5 other people and it was inferior. Prices went up, all specials were 49.95? I had lobster ravioli and it tasted as if there was sugar in the filling. All portions were small. And as far as service, the waiter reached over and handed one of the guests a hot plate. And at these prices the veal came with A piece of lettuce and a slice of under rip tomato. I understand that this is supposed to be home cooking but would it kill then to make a it more effort than a diner for a better garnish, let alone the fact that there was no vegetable. I was a chef for years and would never present a dish with such disregard for esthetics. Again we were all disappointed in the food and will not return. Sorry.

We got to enjoy a table across from the owner (who is normally in the kitchen) and his friends. It was a very lovely experience. The waiters/waitresses were extremely attentive and accommodating. James was one of the best waiters we have ever experienced and we critique all over the world. Since the owner was enjoying his evening, we had our food prepared by the sous chef, 10/10 hands down. The wine was delicious, the food amazing, the service was incomparable. If you do not try this place you're missing out on life experiences. And if you've have given this place a poor review, you're just a typical Karen.
