This is one of my regular go-to places in Sarasota for delicious meals and great service. The food is clean, authentic and flavorful, whether you order it mildly spicy or Thai hot. My old reliables are pad Thai and vegetable panang curry, but I’ve never had a disappointing dish. When other restaurants shut down during Hurricane Irma’s march toward the Bay Area and, later, as the pandemic took hold, Isan found a way to keep its employees safe while continuing to serve customers. I appreciate their commitment to patrons and know many others who do, too. Thank you, Isan.
Great find. Ambience is most authentic I've seen in the U.S. I typically spend 4-6 months a year in Thailand, much of it in the Isan area. Was nice to walk in and see the beautiful Thai decor. Service was great and the food even greater. I had Stir fry Chicken w cashew and my Thai wife had Larb and SomTom (papaya salad) Thai style. Enjoyed a nice cold beer Chang with the meal and topped it off with Mango/Sticky rice for desert. Next time in Sarasota will definitely visit again.
My mom is from this area of Thailand. Trust me in saying, this place is legit. If you want something that typically just that part of Thailand is known for, try the sausage with lemongrass in it. Just like mamma's. ???? ❤
