Pier 23 Restaurant

I am really torn about this restaurant! The burgers were REALLY, really good! Delicious! And usually a burger is either good or terrible. But the bacon cheddar fries had huge strips of bacon and American cheese. ??? What the heck!? The ONE waitress was stressed out and grumpy. It did cost me $78 for two kids into adults. And that's because they added 15% gratuity! I really hate it when they do that! Food was delicious and she did take care of us. She apologized for the weight and thanked as for our patients. So I tipped her 20%.

We stopped in there last Saturday for breakfast it was absolutely the worst breakfast I have ever had. First there was no air conditioning working in the place at all the server said it was fixed yesterday but only worked a few hours. The sever took our order French toast and an order of pancakes it took almost 30 min for come to our table. The bread for the French toast was stale and my wife’s pancakes were undercooked she had coffee I had a soft drink and the bill was 26 dollars and some change we only ate a few bites. The staff really needs to be trained I watched a server place new plates of food on a dirty table then served it the table it was intended for just because she had no help. It was the worst meal we had in Virginia Beach!!

Me and my family went here yesterday. We were seated right away and they took our order. brought our drinks then we waited for our food, it took forever. then asked us if we liked shrimp and it would be free of charge. we said yes because we haven’t eaten all day .Then my mom was served and she was there for 20 minutes with no silverware ,and no one was around. Then my dad said to take his food off and we left because they were taking forever so we walked out and the chased us down because we had to pay for 5 dollar drinks DO NOT WASTE YOU MONEY THERE THEY ARE HORRIBLE
