Sketchy neighborhood makes the legit philly-exactly-as-god-intended even better. Texas ranch style sauce is killer good. Super convenient to I44. A friend recommended this place during our road trip and it was a perfect stop. See you on our next trip!
Food was definitely good, I just wish their signature philly had a little more onion and pepper in it. The chicken philly had a great ratio of onion and pepper to meat! The beef was also more like chopped shreds vs the regular philly meat I'm accustomed to. It wasnt bad, but I think the standard meat is juicier. Fries and tots have a delicious seasoning blend on them. Service was great, atmosphere was nice enough. Just my opinion, I'm no philly expert.
Not putting as much cheese on the sandwiches as they use to. You get charged more if you want more cheese. I would have rather them just raise the cost of the sandwich and still use the amount of cheese they use to instead of not finding out they're skimping on the cheese till you get home and can't ask for the extra cheese.
