I grew up about 3 blocks from Tuccis. Being of Italian descent, I know what good Italian food tastes like. It's good. Meatballs were also good and better than most. I am super-picky when it comes to meatballs and Bolognese Sauce because I make both from scratch. With 6 sisters and 5 brothers, my family ate authentic Italian food. Viva Italia! The atmosphere is cozy with pictures of famous Italians and American-Italians.

I’m going to start by saying I LOVE this place. My fiance and I think it’s the best Italian spot in town, which is why I’m leaving this review because I don’t want to see it go downhill. We’ve tried to come here recently with friends (parties of 4 each time), and the we all felt the service was on the decline. Basic things like taking our order took about 30 minutes to happen once—making us eventually miss the movie we planned to go to afterwards—and this most recent time we were just not getting basic service quickly (drinks not being refilled, plates not being taken, etc.), despite being the first guests in the restaurant. The waiter seemed pretty green, and frankly overworked, because every other person on staff was pulling double duty as the bartender, hostess, or in the kitchen, so he was the only real waiter for a rapidly filling up restaurant. This is a nice little place we went to for date night. The manager lady seemed not the most pleasant but our server, Julia, was super nice. We each had a pasta dish and wish they both had more sauce but the flavors were still good. The sangria is the best I've had in a ling time! And heads up, it can get pretty loud since it's a smaller place.
