Phat Boy Sushi, Kitchen & Bar - Davie

I sat at the bar, service was good and quick. Menu was easy to read, not too many products for you to get confused with. There is a lunch menu, which was what I ordered. A little greasy, but show me a chicken / broccoli bowl that isn't. Good price

The sushi quality was good. You only get 1 piece if you order sushi but if you do sashimi you get 2. I found that weird. Most places do 2 pieces no matter what. We didn’t get our waters for 30-35 mins. I’ve never had that happen. I think there’s better sushi spots!

I’ve always wanted to come by a Phat Boy restaurant, but every time I passed by the other locations I always tell myself that I will come by one day. Friday 7/22 was that fateful night. I went with my girlfriend and we definitely had an amazing night. We were seated right away and there were many options to pick from. I decided to start with the miso soup which was delicious and Annette (GF) had the crispy green beans and she didn’t miss on that selection. For the main entrees I decided to go with the Samurai Roll and the Holly Crab while my gf ordered the Phat Girl and the Hamachi Jalapeño Low Carb Roll. Both of my dishes where phenomenal and the holly crab tasted well with the eel sauce or the spicy mayo, the same can be said about the samurai, which was made with bits of seasoned ribeye meat! The Phat Girl Roll was great too but I felt that it was huge! There was a lot going on there. The hamachi roll was a great in between roll as it was very crunchy and vegan. Out of all the roll
