Ordered 2 of the sandwiches: chicken shawarma and beef. Although both were very good, in my opinion the chicken shawarma sandwich was excellent. Whatever sauce is used for that one is so flavorful!
Chicken Kebab Plate with Hummus A simple, yet delicious, workday lunch. Cheers to a not-so-artsy meal at a not-so-famous Mediterranean restaurant located in downtown Forest Park. . . A glance at the spread speaks volumes of how healthy it is. Chicken, rice, grilled veggies, hummus, and olive oil. Could it be more balanced? Not just healthy, the chicken was very tender and flavorful, the rice not at all sticky, the veggies perfectly done, and the hummus so fresh and tangy. It couldn’t get better in terms of nutrition too. Protein from chicken; carbs from rice and hummus; fats from olive oil. . ???????????? ???????????????????? A go-to type place when we don’t feel like spending the big bucks or fighting the hustle-bustle of the city, yet would want our meal to be delicious and of course, healthy. Every item on their menu is great. Especially, their shawarmas. Have fun..!!
Unexpectedly good - I had the kafta kebab sandwich and it was very good. So were the grape leaves, hummus and falafel. Very pleasant surprise. They also deliver themselves which I really like.
