Pepper Belly Bbq

My fiancé and I always like to find the most random places on the road to try out when we go somewhere unfamiliar. While searching for a wedding venue we came across this place and it did NOT disappoint!! Everything was perfect and his mac & cheese was to die for ???? if you happen to pass the area, do yourself a favor and stop by!

Don't judge this book by its cover - the BBQ at this little spot is delicious. The brisket, pulled pork and chicken are all beautifully smoked and very tasty. The mac & cheese is creamy with a little extra seasoning that's not standard for other mac (not sure what it is); we loved it! Exceptional service as well! We will certainly be going back.

I was sceptical of the 5 stars, but I was proven wrong. The brisket was a lean cut so it was a bit dry for me but it had a good flavor. The mac and cheese was good, but not great. However, the sausage was some of the best I've had, I love that they smoke then fry it up a bit; the flavors were superb. The beans though, holy cow the beans. If you go there, make sure beans are your side. The best beans I've ever had, and not just at BBQ restaurants.
