Update: I tried the chicken pot pie and it was another disappointment. The crust was thick and soggy. The filling was dry. I won't be back. This was my first visit to this restaurant and I was looking forward to a good bowl of homemade soup. The soup of the day - meatball stew- was a disappointment. The stew gravy had an oddly sweet taste and the meatballs did not appear to be homemade. They did have a nice display of pies. I chose a cherry cheesecake that was very tasty but not a typical cheesecake, more like cream cheese/whipped cream blend. I would like to try their homemade chicken pot pie before writing them off though.

Super friendly staff. Selling fresh farm veggies and serving up some tasty eats. Nothing like blue bell in a waffle cone.

I had a sandwich, chips, and cookie last night at a catered meeting and was shocked at how good it was. The bread was extremely fresh, the club sandwich was layered high with meats, veggies, crunchy bacon, and the chocolate chip cookie was definitely on a professional level. Then I came to work this morning and was pleasantly surprised to find out there was a leftover pimento cheese cup that I could eat......for breakfast (don't judge). WOW, I was never a fan of deli food, until now. I can't wait to head up to Sanger for a sit down meal.
