Penn Station East Coast Subs

So, my daughter gave me a partially used gift card to this place. I had never been here before so I figured I'd stop by and grab a sub. During checkout I ran the gift card.. declined. They ran it about six or seven more times.. declined. After that one of the guys behind the counter started laughing saying those gift cards never work here, they're always a problem. It's not the card, it's a problem on our end. The guy ringing me up says well, I can't lookup the balance, I'm too busy.. then just proceeds to stand there. Now mind you, I came in at an off-time four people in the store, maybe five, including me and I'm the only one at the register. Anyway, I pulled on my credit card and paid for it. I came in the next day and ordered a sub. During checkout I ran the gift card.. declined. They ran it about eight more times.. declined. I finally asked them, can't you just check the balance? Sandwiches not made the way we ordered. Also the short young lady with the short blonde hair ( that was on the grill) was not nice at all. She needs to be trained to work with the public. The other two employees (girls) were nice.
