Love their pizza… but when your 18” is actually a 13” pizza because of the 5” crust they offer…that’s gotta stop
One group of us (10-people) ordered and picked up 5-pizzas on Friday night. A second (different) group (4) of us attempted to phone in orders Saturday night. They hung up on us 5-times. I drove over from Dellbrook-Taylors. The dining room was empty. No sweet tea. Delivery car was parked, hood cold. Their parking lot was filled with people who were eating BBQ next door. I walked up to the counter to order and the singular young man told me I would have a 90-minute wait even with the idle bunch of nattering girls who were supposed to be working. Our wings w/garlic knots, "Waist Trimmer" pizza, stromboli and baked spaghetti were received within 20-minutes. I asked for Sprite and Dr. Pepper but was given Sprite and Coke. When I walked out I saw at least two of the female employees talking to different young men in two different vehicles. A different kind of curb service. The food was very good but the experience was not.
I read some of the reviews and my comment is "THIS IS A PIZZA PLACE FOLKS". I have been in search of a good pizza place since I moved to Greer from Maryland 3 years ago and recently stumbled on this place. It is my favorite so far. Nothing is going to top Ledo's Pizza in College Park (you UofMd alum know what I'm talking about) but I would give this an 8 out of 10 on the pizza, just beating out my up till now go to place in Greer (starts with an M). Crust is excellent (somewhat crispy) plenty of sauce and cheese. Hawaiian pizza was one of the best I have ever had. Now I know I said this is a pizza place but being a junk food addict I had to try the Philly cheesesteak and this is the second best I have had in the area (the best being over in Easley-but that's a long drive). The key here at Pebble Creek is the rolls which move it into the exceptional category. Of course the place is busy as hell on Friday and Saturday but that's a good sign.
