This was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the overall atmosphere, to the welcoming and friendly staff, right through the deliciousness of the meal. A little more upscale than we usually do for our group, but you gotta splurge now and then. And this was definitely the place to splurge. Very unassuming exterior, yet classy interior with linens and full changing of flatware between courses. From the host to the server, we were warmingly welcomed and made to feel at home. The chef even came out when we were finished to greet us and ask how we enjoyed our evening. This is a detail lacking in most restaurants today. He was personable and genuinely seemed please we loved all of the food. No ego, no pretention. Just a man who loves doing what he does and seeing others enjoy the fruits of his labor. came on a sun morning where it was empty except for us. service was awesome! the food took a little while for us being the only customers BUT the food was AMAZING. well worth the wait. best croque madame and eggs Benedict we have ever had in the United States.
