We have dined at Papi's in Stockbridge on several occasions. The food has always been superb. We dined there on yesterday and received the poorest service imaginable. The waitress took our drink order and it was wrong and when she brought out our food she handed it off from the far end of the table. Once she gave us our food we never saw her again, in fact we had to ask another person to get her for us so we could get our bill. The service was so unacceptable that we will probably order take-out the next time we want Papi's for dinner.
Had dinner there Wednesday last week the service was on point from the minute walking in two employees greeted us the waitress made great suggestion on appetizers. We ordered the fried plantains with shrimp tooping I had catch of the day fish with rice and salad. My brother and his wife ordered Cuban sandwiches and they were big and tasty.
Great restaurant with consistently good staff, good food with decent prices. It’s one of our favorite Cuban restaurants.
