Ordered combo #2 ( 2 pupusas, beans, rice) and a bunch of stuff. The pros: - taste is authentic - the pupusas aren’t greasy, they are just right - beans were amazing - has that small hole in the wall feel that you know your about to have a great meal feel - weird atmosphere but it works Cons: - pricy but hey it’s SF - slow service but hey it’s a busy restaurant - parking is scarce Overall it’s definitely worth it and I highly recommend this place!
Great hours (open late), some heaters to keep you warm, and i really loved the guacamole. Portion size for it couldve been a bit more generous though! Mushroom and cheese pupusa was decent!
Super lively spot. Ordered loroco and mixta pupusas and while they were definitely good it was just way too much cheese for me. I love pupusas but there was barely any chicharon in my mixta; just beans and a tonnnn of cheese. Not enough curdito to cut the heaviness of the cheese either. But definitely a fun experience
