Paloma Greenville

Went in for drinks and small plates. Had shrimp plate and hummus plate…combined for a great share. My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary. The place was hopping on a Friday night. The Dove cocktail is a complex wonderful version of a Paloma featuring Smoked Maestro Dobel Tequilla and to die for mango jalapeño syrup. My wife had the Smoked Manhattan. It too is a complex wonder and that smokiness stays in the ice for the length of the drink. Definitely on the rocks was a Good choice. Go there and enjoy. Very enjoyable. Staff was friendly and easy to get along with.

Tried to get cocktails and tapas after a matinee Peace Center show. It was not very busy. It was seat yourself and we were fairly quickly given waters by a server and told they would be back briefly for our order. After 15 minutes of waiting and watching our server walk right by our table, we left. There was a group of about 6 servers talking at the bar also ignoring us. We weren't dressed super fancy and feel that may have been part of why we were ignored - too bad because we're good tippers!

Lunch with some out of town friends who wanted to see the Camperdown area downtown. Great location but the food and service was poor. No one welcomed us when we arrived. 2 of the 4 orders came out and we had to literally wait 10+ minutes for the other 2. The burger, ordered medium, came out burnt - both the burger and the roll. The Caesar salad came out, but was told that they’re still making the dressing and that will be another 5 minutes. 2 eggplant sandwiches arrived - they were fine, but extremely simple, nothing special. One sandwich was ordered with a salad with the dressing on the side. The salad came out already dressed. The place was not busy at all. Not worth it. Hope it improves quickly!
