Palio's Pizza Cafe Richardson

Mixed up our online order. My husband changed the size of our pizza and the ingredients on the first pizza didn’t transfer to the new size. Cheese pizzas aren’t that interesting. Palio’s got my sandwich wrong. Ham and cheese isn’t that hard to read on the order, but they did. And when they redid it, we couldn’t tell the difference between the two sandwiches…Palio’s gave us the extra sandwich for free saying that it’s a meatball sandwich…nope, that wasn’t even right. The second one was either a ham and cheese like mine or sausage and cheese. My sandwich wasn’t anything to write home or any other place. Not going back.

The staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. I asked for a veggie pizza and they put meat on it. When I raised that I couldn’t eat the meat and asked for a replacement, they wouldn’t accept their mistake and claimed I hadn’t ordered a veggie pizza. The place is extremely dirty and the food is mediocre.

We went specifically because of the vegan gluten free options and we were completely impressed. Yes it was incredibly expensive, but for a once in a while treat I highly recommend it. What impressed me most was the crust being so soft and the homemade cheese. The servers were very helpful, polite, and the service was surprisingly fast.
