Food is avg. Drenched in oil absolutely the opposite of "TJ" style. Asada tasted like reheated meat. The Birria is absolute garbage im sorry to say. Along with their birria Ramen. It has none of or even similar to an actual birria broth taste. Consome ( the broth) isn't even tinged red which are basic ingredients for birria. Hard pass. Check out Suazo's tacos for that instead in Stanton.
Palapas is normally really good, but for whatever reason my al pastor Cali Burrito was a bit on the cold side. I did order a head and arrived 10 minutes after the pick up time, this could be why. The strange part is the mulita I ordered was still hot/warm.
The Birria Ramen was delicious the broth was very tasty but the meat was just a big chunk thrown in the cup I had to tear it apart. The birria tacos it came with was 2 soft tortillas and birria meat I didn't know you had to request cheese as an extra. I did order more birria tacos with cheese to give them a fair chance but it hardly had any cheese. I was just expecting more.
