I was super hungry when I left my physiotherapy today, and I really wanted a dinner. And hello, I got it. I stumbled into Palace restaurant, a typical NYC Greek ran dinner, where food is your typical work man style. Not much flavor, but decent enough when in a hurry. Plus the price was really great considering you are on 57 and Lexington. Only $15 for two eggs with sausage, potatoes, toast and all you can drink coffee. Sitting at the bar and watching the Mexican waiter calling out delivery orders as if he was calling the Oscars was definitely the best part. So, if you are really desperate for some cheap food that comes in abundance of food and entertainment you should definitely try out this place. Want more foodie ideas?! Amazing gluten free menu! Stayed at a hotel nearby and needed to find a place that had gluten free options for breakfast/brunch. It's traditional diner food and it hits the spot if that's what you're looking for. Gluten free waffles were fluffy and delicious! We also didn't need a reservation for a Sunday morning brunch if you want to beat the crowds. Low-key, family-friendly, and unpretentious.
local '50's diner with red banquet chairs and booths as well as a 1950's style bar . extensive "old school diner" menu of decent food and a full bar - a true diner.
