Padrino's Pizza US

College memories kickin' in. After 7 years I had a taste of Padrino's pizza, which I never even thought could be possibility in USA, since it's from Serbia. Had it last time in Novi Sad at College and went in today to double check if it's still same as it used to be. I wasn't dissapointed at all, ordered capricciosa(the real deal in Serbia). I had big size pizza fresh from oven, taste is really what I wanted, salty, cheesy and not heavy like most pizzas in USA. If you want to have a taste of Serbian (Eastern European) pizzeria, this place is no doubt the right one. Beside capricciosa I saw a great choice which is Prosciutto-Arugula which I'm gonna have next time. Crepe stand is also traditional like everywhere in Eruope. So this place could be a great spot for having a cup of coffee and something sweet as well. Indoors has a lot of windows so it makes it great for brunch, outdoor is also a good option with many tables.

I’ve passed by this place a million times and never stopped in, from the outside I thought it was just like a subway but for pizza. I was wrong Inside it is the cutest little cafe, very European. Food was delicious, crepes, pizza, coffee, all of it. They serve Julius Meinl espresso which I haven’t seen since I lived in the city. Clearly everyone else knows this is a hidden gem, because the place was hoppin at lunch time! There a few tables outside as well. Can’t wait to come back and try the oven baked sandwiches, they all sounded amazing! It was also very clean and the customer service was great!

Great people working behind the counter and awesome owner! Pizza is delicious to say the least and the crepes are 10/10 recommended you try. Will come in later for a macchiato as it also upholds a cafe atmosphere with homemade latte beverages available for purchase. Also affordable prices.
