Great service and delicious drinks! Would highly recommend if you're in the area looking for something different. The poutine and variety of fries were great! Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More

I have been riding by THE OUTLIER for years now. I have always been curious about it and that curiosity grew even more when they opened a patio. You see, its not often when a hotel invest in their lobby bars. The Outlier is part of The Monaco Hotel on 4th street in downtown Seattle. The fact that they have invested in a redesign shows that they are committed to making a statement with this restaurant. Now WHAT that statement is, THATS a mixed bag. I guess youd call it “Industrial” I guess. While I appreciated the open spaces and soaring ceilings, I was a little confused by their use of fencing to close off certain areas. Keeping that in mind, it worked well with the color schemes. But again FENCING. It made me think of that bar from THE BLUES BROTHERS movie where the stage was surrounded by chicken wire to prevent the band from catching flying bottles to the face. The service was good enough to take my mind off of that and the food was just as good. I enjoyed a salmon BLT with truffle

Undercooked salmon that I couldn't dare to eat. Overall relatively flavorless food. Understaffed on a Friday night. Only thing earning it a 3 star was an outstanding bartender who seemed to recognize the reality of the situation and tried to make it the best he could.
