The entire experience was awful: service, food, and atmosphere. Staff constantly ignored us in a near-empty restaurant. Brussel sprouts were burnt and drenched in vinegar, pastas were bland, and my wife and I both left with an immediate stomach ache. 1 out of 10 stars.
Had a wonderful meal outside on their patio. Waiter was attentive and polite. Food was freshly made and very tasty.
Osteria is usually one of our neighborhood favorites but their use of olive oil has just expanded way beyond necessary. The last 2 pasta dishes I have ordered from them have just been soaking in oil. This is the weekly special. All of that liquid is olive oil! They should save some money and save me a ton of calories by cutting back to a normal oil level....please! You turned a great dish into something that I would never order again.
