Order: Salmon roll, Spicy tuna roll, Usumashi soup, Ramen and Yakisoba. Volcano roll and green tea ice cream comped by chef. First, The rolls were legit. Perfect sticky rice, not too hard not too soft. Very Thin seaweed wrap not enough to have to chew tremendously well but enough to hold the roll. Flavorful and salty. And my personal favorite, excellent quality tuna, pulverized to melt in your mouth with spicy enough to feel on the palette but not overwhelm or have an unwelcome linger. Salmon was equally quality and soft as butter. Volcano roll was a perfect as well, and the and there is little to criticize when they comp it. Usumashi soup was fresh, broth was balanced, not to salty or acidic, Shitaki not chewy, I repeat, NOT chewy and that was refreshing in itself. Crab was melt in your mouth, something that this restaurant is so far doing excellent at achieving. Very classy sushi restaurant, we came to Houston for one restaurant but we ended up coming here and it fits us perfectly. We was celebrating our anniversary and they was so welcoming. They gave my husband and I a fish on the house!! We ended up spending over $100 because we wanted to try everything and leave a BIG tip. Our waiter was AMAZING!!!! Thank you for making our anniversary night complete.

Service was great, and the food arrived quickly. But everything tasted just average. Had a scallop appetizer that turned out to be fried like tempura. I've never seen scallops that way and frankly thought it ruined them. Sushi rolls were similarly disappointing. I also did not like the fact that for sashimi one had to order five relatively large pieces of the same fish. I have been to many other sushi restaurants where an order is one or two pieces so it's easier to get a variety.
