Angel the owner was amazing always made sure we was ok and made us feel like family! The food was amazing so good. Can’t wait to go back
The place is TINY...but the food is good. The fritters were fresh and delicious. The alcapurrias were so good!! The only thing about the mofongo I got was that you could tell the plantains were more ripe, so it had a hint of sweetness- not too much, but enough that I could tell and it's my preference not to have it sweet at all. The carne frita was tender and flavourful. The service was like a typical cafeteria style from back home in Puerto Rico. This is not a place for large groups, there's only 2 tables that seat 4 people, 1 table for 2 and 1 that might seat 5 to 6 people. There isn't a parking lot, so you have to park in the streets nearby. I would recomend the place, just go with a patience attitude as the place may get full easily since there isn't much room. Their prices are pretty affordable, but they can start to add up easily when you order drinks and multiple fritters- I was a little shocked when I got my bill- but after seeing the breakdown of the cost it made sense.
