Oromian Restaurant

Service was lovely and friendly. Good decor and mellow mood. Could've enjoyed less smooth jazz with warmed injera. Food was tasty and prices were reasonable. Would come back again when in Salt Lake.

My best friend and I were out together one day and wanted to try somewhere new for lunch. We came across this place. Neither of us had tried Ethiopian food before. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful! There were very colorful art pieces on the walls that caught our eye. The tables were especially lovely and clean. We ordered the ultimate platter, which is perfect for two people. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. When she brought out our food, she told us what each of the dishes were and how to eat them. Everything on the platter was absolutely delicious!! The bread was very soft and delicate and paired perfectly with the rest of the platter. We ate until we were beyond full. This was one of the greatest new food experiences that we’ve had. We plan on coming back with our family and other friends. Everyone needs to try this place at least once. I can’t stop talking and thinking about it!

OK I wasn’t sure about this Ethiopian food? I can’t tell you how amazing this food was! So flavorful and so colorful. This place is a must go to !! in Salt Lake City downtown right on State Street beautifully clean restaurant.
