Oquirrh Restaurant

We have eaten at quite a few fine dining establishments in the greater salt lake area, but Oquirrh is hands down the best, and at a much lower price point. The smoked cabbage was the star of the show. So many flavors and textures combined into something truly transcendent. While the cabbage was the stand-out, any one of the dishes we ordered put the best dishes at other restaurants to shame. We will be back!

I came into town from Canada and was recommended this restaurant from a chef friend. Damn the food is SO DELICIOUS! 6* level. Chef Drew brought out a special dish he made from the new spring menu, the cauliflower and we left no trace. I’d highly recommend this restaurant! Yum

Eclectic, local restaurant near downtown Salt Lake City. The food is original and creative, but didn’t always hit the mark. The sourdough bread is a must, and the small plates, such as the cauliflower, are excellent. The trout and duck were creative and flavorful with an Asian twist, but tended toward overdone. We tried the pot de creme for dessert, which also was good, but not great. The staff and owner were friendly and charming. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would recommend.
