Hamachi Sushi Bar

This was mine and my husbands GO TO sushi spot ! We loved it here. But it has gone a bit downhill since my previous experiences . They changed their menu a bit, it’s not AS GOOD but it’s still good. However what really made my experience terrible was they were denying my request to substitute one ingredient in a roll I have gotten a million times with that substitution, when they denied my substitution request I had asked what had changed as they have done it for me a handful of times in the past but they still denied so we left. I wish they would be more accommodating like they used to be for those with dietary restrictions. I unfortunately will not be going back and am now looking for a new go to sushi spot. ☹️

Wonderful. Not much of a wait for a table. Atmosphere is pretty nice. Intimate seating. Extensive menu and lots of variations as well as some new twists of classic rolls.

Great sushi for Salt Lake City standards and I like the outdoor patio a lot! The shrimp tempura roll, cucumber salad, and spicy tuna were all delicious. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared. The staff were great and overall I would definitely come back!
