On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina - Northpoint

3rd time this week I've planned to take my group of coworkers to otb but left due to none of us wanting to be waited on by their horribly rude and mean lunch server. I managed restaurants for 15 years years and I'm honestly shocked every time I get waited on by this guy at the things he says to customers..they must be desperate for employees. At this point I think they'd get more business with no server at all as a lot of my office has shared similar opinions to me. It doesn't matter how nice you are to this guy, he will make it very apparent that he hates being there and he's upset he has to wait on you. I mean, when I was in the industry we lived off tips and wanted customers..is this not the norm anymore?

Until they hire more staff, it just isn't worth it. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated and another 30 before we saw our server. There were only two waiters working so we tried to be patient but it is completely unacceptable not only to work employees to the bone but to make patrons wait this long for service. I am not the type to write negative reviews but I don't think that it's acceptable to have a nearly empty restaurant and still have to wait 2+ hours for meal service when other locations can do it in less than half the time. The food we received was also mediocre. Next time we will trust our guts and just walk out after the thirty minute mark. Literally watched the manager chilling out in the back while they ignored us.

My mom and I just ate here for lunch and the food was AWFUL! I ordered fajita nachos and the steak was chewy and had no flavor. Moms food tasted a bit better, but still wasn’t good. It honestly tasted like both our meals were stale. So gross! The server was good, but she barely came by to check on us or anything, and we had to ask for drink refills. Definitely won’t be back ????
