Olympic Steak & Pizza - Arlington

Often after church on Sundays, a group of us will frequent Olympic in Arlington. We have a certain waitress that always gives us excellent service and even remembers what most of us drink with our meals. Food is good, however it would be welcomed if they rotated vegetables on the buffet, instead of offering the same ones over and over. The banana pudding on the salad bar is consistently dry, because of too many vanilla wafers.

Being stuck in a land of Mexican restaurants and pizza joints, (not to mention 4,000 banks), Olympic is our go to for variety. I know pizza is right there in it's name, and the pizza is good, but I go there for the everything else. The salad bar is always so fresh and maintained. There is always someone checking it and refilling. The menu is not huge, but there is a great variety to suit any mood. If they are able, they will also make something off menu for you. Courtney is our favorite server and she is amazing. She is always calm in the face of crazy, (and on Sunday after church, she SEES crazy), and still manages a smile and a kind word. It's a sad day for us if we can't sit in her area. If you leave Olympic hungry, it is your fault. I also use them for catering our church Wednesday night dinners once a month and Mark always takes such good care of us.

Food is average, but the service friendly and efficient. My father and I ate here once night both coming and going on a multi day car trip and it was good both times. Salad bar is really good. Lasagna was just like a frozen TV dinner. Second meal was the bbq chicken with cheese on top. Sounds weird but it was really good. Manager was friendly and helpful with tips for our drive.
