Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

I ate there with some friends on Sunday and there was a 45 minute wait. So we ordered a peach Bellini and while we waited, the manager brought out tastings of the calamari and stuffed rigatoni for people in the waiting area to try! Once we were seated, everyone’s pasta was tasty, and the food was out quickly! Our server, Sarah, was brief and to the point. Overall it was a good experience!

Still some kinks! I know we've gone mask free and nearly gotten back to regular ol' times, but this place was just way understaffed. Granted, it was Mother's day, but it took two hours to serve 2 of us. And larger tables all around us were seated after us and served before us. Our waiter felt so bad that he made every effort to comp us, including free desserts and drinks. By the end, we wished we'd done a to-go order because we felt trapped in a waiting game. Next time, take out!

We went about 3 pm on a Friday. Not busy at all. The outside does show some age and I wondered if the quality inside was a reflection of the outside. Inside was clean and open with the typical decor but it felt larger and more open than others we have been in. We were seated right away. Our server was excellent! Salad and breadsticks came with our meals and we never get tired of those. And no, although the food isn't really "authentic" Italian, it was hot and fresh and deliciously seasoned. The lasagna was meaty and cheesy. We also took advantage of the $6.00 take home entree deal. I also had lasagna leftovers. We also took home orders of tiramasu which was better than anticipated. It was as good as what we have had with "fancy" dining. We would certainly go back again!
