Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Arrived late in the evening totally expecting to be told take out only but they seemed to be more then happy to give us a table, which was very welcoming. The waitress, Alice, we had was perfect. Went here tonight for dinner and the service was fast and attentive. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan with spaghetti and the salad to start. The salad was good as usual, the eggplant was very tasty and the spaghetti was pretty bland. They portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up like every other place.

First off - I'm ranking this Olive Garden based upon being a fan of Olive Garden's. Is it authentic Italian food from the old country and would I serve it to an Italian grandmother expecting it to pass muster? No. It's American Italian, it's a chain, but it's good, solid comfort food. So if you're not a fan, don't bother. I'm not a fan of certain large chain restaurants that people seem to love, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna trash their ratings based on personal preferences. Like any chain, you basically know what to expect and what you're getting. So, now that that's out of the way - this Olive Garden experience for us on 10/08/2022 was the top experience we've had at any Olive Garden. Our water was so kind, so attentive, and so proactive. He wasn't hovering, but he knew what we'd need before we even voiced it, so he gave us privacy but kept an eye on us to anticipate our requests.
