Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

I just want to say how absolutely amazing Christina, our waitress, and Akheem, the kitchen manager were to me and my family. They were so kind and took care of us as best they could. There was long wait but again, they worked hard to make up for it and have emphasized that they are fixing that issue. I hope things get better at this location specifically.

I am giving two stars just because of the server. Which I wanted to do one. I wanted to do 5 for her but I cannot give that. I hardly ever leave reviews cause I work in the service industry.. But when I comment on things they are bad. The waitress was friendly and as much as she could be, attentive. However we were waiting to be seated and by the time the the hostess finally came up she glared at us and asked " so table for two? And we said" yep that'd be great! " and she got louder while reaching for two menus and said" TABLE. FOR. TWO? " like we didn't say anything to her. Like.. I know you heard us. We made eye contact and said the same thing at the same time. Our waitress did recommend a great beer however when we asked anything about the beer menu (i like to give the benifit of the doubt but she said she'd worked there for a few years and every table she served when they had questions about beer she'd say she'd have to asked the bartender) ..... I didn't know anything about beer

Great pizza parlor. Full service bar and food orders delivered promptly to your table. Waitress was very attentive and checked back several times to see if we needed anything. Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but I did see on the menu options for that. Parking: Plenty of spaces on property for this restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Not much in the way of entertainment for kids but there is a child's menu that should work for most. Wheelchair accessibility: There is handicap parking and wheel chair access to entrance. I have seen hostess at front door assist a gentleman in a wheelchair to enter the restaurant.
