O'Donoghue's Irish Pub

Stopped in here for a quick bite before our 7:00 show at Sunset Playhouse. Our waitress was fun, friendly and helpful. The cod fish fry, Irish Reuben witn sweet potato fries and Shepherd's Pie were all very good, although personally I would ask them to hold the cheese topping on the Shepherd's Pie next time.

There are just so many good things to write about this place, I hope I do not miss any details. We (myself, wife & 3 kids) went here for dinner on Saturday, 10/01/22 at 7P. We got a table right away, despite the day and time. The waitress was friendly, and took our entire order via memory (I always find that impressive). The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portions and quality of food. Now, for the food. We ordered the house chips with house sauce as an appetizer. The chips were fresh, warm, perfectly crispy, and the sauce was some sort of onion dip that was really good. My son and I ordered the reuben soup, and it was fantastic. It had rye croutons in there that somehow remained crunchy throughout the last bite. The meat was tender and clearly just made. Lots of fun to be had at this location. We were there for the big band music but the food was pretty good.
