Deleted our previous 5 star review. My family & I decided to walk over from our favorite play place to grab some meat for dinner quick. The women behind the counter told me twice to put the meat I just grabbed out of the cooler onto the counter. I didn’t know she was talking to me the first time. This has never happened before. We have spent a lot of money supporting this small business. I don’t know if it was because I was wearing my daughters diaper backpack or what the real problem was but She said it was because the meat was ice cold. If that was the case she could have easily offered me a basket, yet she didn’t and continued to have a smug look on her face as I checked out. We were going to buy some other things but we decided not to after that. We take a lot of pride in supporting small local businesses and We are so disappointed with the service we received. We won’t spend another dime at this store.

I came in for the first time early January 2022 when I moved to Brookfield and was amazed at how little they had in the meat case at 3pm on a Tuesday when it is bigger than their State Street Location. It sadly looked amateurish and not knowing what kind of a business they wanted to be. (2stars) But I decided to go back in February 1st and the case was full and beautiful. I would recommend this place now that maybe they have a better staff or something. I was able to grab a steak and dinner was amazing. (5stars)
