Not sure what the main issue was, but they seemed out of everything, low staff, empty tables and the food was not cooked right. Asked for a medium steak and got well done. The waiter was awesome, the bartender not so much. When we were the only people in the restaurant, why was the food late and cooked wrong? Didn't seem like a Covid or low staff problem. I give it a 2 cause the waiter was awesome, but everything else was not.
Our first and only time at an O'Charley's. The food was horrible. The loaded potato soup was not soup... It tasted and looked like an artificial cheese sauce. It would be better served with a basket of tortilla chips; maybe then we could actually eat it. The rolls were tasteless and truly sub par; I can't remember any rolls I've had that were so bad. The sandwich was also tasteless (How can you mess up a simple ham and cheese sandwich?), and the chicken pineapple bowl was so salty that I would swear the cook added a quarter cup of salt in addition to the teriyaki sauce. Barely edible. The restaurant itself was pretty, spacious, and clean.
I went to O'Charley's for dinner last night, and I was sorely disappointed. The food was bland and tasteless, and the service was slow and indifferent. I ordered the grilled chicken and ranch sub, and it was the driest, most flavorless sub I've ever had. The bread was stale, the chicken was dry, and the ranch dressing was watery. I'm not sure what I was expecting from a place like O'Charley's, but I certainly wasn't expecting such subpar food. I'm sure there are people out there who enjoy O'Charley's, but I'm not one of them. The food is simply not good enough to justify the price. If you're looking for a decent meal, I would suggest going elsewhere. There are plenty of other restaurants in town that serve better food at a lower price. As for the service, it was just as bad as the food. Our waiter was completely disinterested in our table, and it took him forever to bring our food. When he finally did, he didn't even ask if we needed anything else.
