My party and I traveled from Troy,NY to Springfield for lunch. We came across this restaurant after our first choice was closed. The restaurant has recently opened and the menu is quite small, but the owner said more items will be added w/in the next few weeks. Three of us ordered the fried chicken, mac&cheese and yams. I ordered the fried Whitings. The food was delicious! The serving sizes were enough for two people. The service was wonderful and the restaurant, although small, didn't feel crowded and was nice a clean. We will be returning. If you are traveling through or live nearby, run don't walk to the Northern Soul Cafe
It's the best restaurant I've been to in years they are super courteous lovely atmosphere and the food is the greatest.
